COACH PARK

Public BBQ

Coach Park is a quietly competent neighbourhood barbecue spot that understands its role in the suburban ecosystem. The park's dual slides proved rather ambitious for the toddler set, requiring parental assistance for the under-threes, though this minor design oversight hardly diminishes the appeal for families. The barbecue facilities integrate seamlessly with expansive open spaces where children can exhaust themselves while parents tend to the cooking. Shaded play equipment provides respite from Queensland's sunshine, while picnic tables and water fountains demonstrate thoughtful planning. Walking paths meander through the grounds, accommodating both leisurely strolls and dog exercise (leads required). The park's duck population adds unexpected charm, offering free entertainment for young visitors. The absence of doggy bags at this dog-friendly location seems an administrative oversight, but overall maintenance standards remain high.
